[08.31.18] Amos Lee On Markelle Fultz, Sixers Ownership, Hoagie Mouth and My New Moon
Amos Lee joins us to berate us for ditching his song.
Amos Lee was the first person ever named Spike or Mike to co-host this podcast. He was also the first and only person to ever construct a song explicitly for the opening of this podcast. Also, Amos Lee is a recording artist loved around the world with a new album out today called My New Moon (buy it on vinyl here). Amos joined us to talk about Markelle Fultz, anxiety disorders, Sixers ownership, us ditching his theme song and hoagie mouth. We even got Amos to morph into his alter-ego, Tony, Toni, Ta-Tone and talk about his Sam Hinkie song.
Speaking of music, we'll have a live performance of "Imagine (The Process)," at Live Ricky III featuring Dario Saric. Also, two lucky people in the crowd will be selected to sit on stage on Big Barker dog beds during the show. It's going to be one for the ages, we can assure you of that.
Finally, Kinetic Skateboarding has produced only 46 pairs of the special Kinetic/Ricky logo mashup Champion shorts. They have pockets. $10 for every pair will go to Coded By Kids and the Providence Animal Center. They go on sale at midnight on Friday night on Kinetic's website. Don't forget to use promo code DAVESILVER for 9.1% off your first order.
