Great Taste... Weird Name

When The Colony Meadery signed on as a Ricky sponsor about six months ago, Greg (one of the owners) asked us if we'd ever want to do a mead with the name of "Lickface." We LOLd pretty hard because who would ever want to do something like that? Turned out they were serious. Many people (mostly Spike's dad) has made drinks about our little community here "drinking the Kool-Aid," and this is about as close as you're going to get.

You can get it today (Thursday) starting at 4pm in person at the Colony Meadery Taproom in Allentown, and starting tomorrow online at THIS LOCATION at noon. If you use the promo code "LICKFACE" you'll get five bucks off and a poster of the artwork.

The can art is done by our very own Zainab Javad for Lickface Volume 1: The Flavors Swapped. It's a pumpkin spice mead with some orange and vanilla thrown in there. Look at how good it looks when it's cold. We're not sure how long it will be available as Vlade may want to give us an unprotected first for a case. This is officiall proof that both we and pumpkin spice have gone too far.

Speaking of Colony Meadery, come out and join Spike at the Sterling Pig in Media on Saturday, November 10th at 1:30pm until 3:30pm for a Colony Mead afterparty for the Providence Animal Center Bark in The Park. We'll have some cool giveaways, free snacks, and you'll be able to drink some mead (or other stuff if you want). There's still time to donate too!
