The Opening Tip
Hello and Happy Thursday, it's the Corner Three!
They're winning ugly, they're winning pretty, they're winning.
Forward!

Oh Yeah,The Sixers
The good guys went 3-1 since we last spoke including a very late night road win on over the Kings in which we got our first "bad" Embiid outing.
Shoutouts
Ben Simmons
25 has really ramped it up on both ends, attacking downhill, on the secondary break, and absolutely suffocating the other teams best offensive player when called upon. The knee is definitely feeling better and I expect (hope) to see more of the same heading into the all-star break.
Tobias Harris
Had a rough start against sac town but man did he and Shake turn it on in the 4th. He's been Mr. Consistent all year and is without shadow of a doubt very much deserving of and all-star selection, though I'm not sure he'll get it in a packed East but we persist nonetheless.
Seth Curry
Man, I'm just so glad he's back and ended a very non-Seth like streak of 8 quarters without a point. He's on pace to be the first ever member of the 50/50100 club, 50.3 FG%, 50.7 3P% and 100.0 FT%. Fucking ridiculous.
Trade/Buyout Wishlist (Trade deadline is March 25th, never too early to plan!)
Perimeter Ballhandler Creator -
Very tough ask because their best chance at this is playing in Brooklyn right now but if it's one thing this team needs it is someone who can create his own magic from outside.
Another PF to help spell Tobias Harris -
Mike Scott continues to struggle with an early season knee injury and at this point shouldn't be counted on for anything for a while as the team has given no indication that he's close to returning.
Stretch 5 Alternate -
Dwight Howard has been more than serviceable but a big who can stretch the floor a bit and unclog things for Shake and the rest of the second unit would be alot of fun and I'm sure a welcomed addition for Doc Rivers.
Road Ahead
The gang finishes the Western swing against Portland, Phoenix and Utah, 3 of the West's top 6 seeds. Certainly some opportunity to make a few more statements and continue setting themselves up for a really strong end to the first half of the season
Finally! The long talked-about "Only Rockets Podcast" shirts (there are less than 100 of them) will go on sale for $10 each when you buy another item at Kinetic Skateboarding at midnight on Saturday. They'll be in the shop too as long as they exist. Proceeds will benefit the American Transplant Foundation in memory of Kinetic's buddy James Williams <3.

New Pod
The fellas popped in mid-road trip to try to figure out why LeBron is the MVP favorite, figure out if a Kyle Lowry trade is possible, pick between backup small ball five and backup point guard, and talk about some snacks from childhood.
The Rest From The Best
A very wise analytical mind once said the details are in the margins. While the Sixers are firing on all cylinders now, Sixers Adam has a few suggestions on names they can add to make sure things stay that way moving forward and until we get a (virtual) parade.
Daryl Morey doesn't sit still and neither do Daryl Morey led front offices. The always awesome Mike O'Connor has a heads up on a few players we should look out for ahead of March 25's trade deadline.
We all love the Sixers (most of them atleast) but it's always right and fair to show love to guys we don't get to root for daily. Andrew Unterberger has his top 10 list of non-Sixers he's enjoying watching this season and holy shit a really surprising number 1!
