1. Thoughts on the 3 game win streak?
These guys have looked good. Dialed in on both sides of the court. The most important thing for me has been how seamless the offense has looked with James Harden at the head, finding a great balance between distributing and playmaking and finding his own gold. This has been a reminder that above all else, the Embiid/Harden synergy will determine just what kind of team this is in March and hopefully April and June.
2. Tobias has been doing a bit of everything. Like him in his current role?
I do. Listen, he obviously is the most expensive third option (4th when Mad Max returns) and the sooner we all willfully or not, accept the better. I officially abandoned all hope that they'll trade him this month or at all this season so it's obviously best for all if he's given and accepts and executes a defined role.
3. How right were you about De'Anthony Melton?
Not taking my victory lap, but happily doing a little jog. We did it. We fucking did it. Dan House still sucks but boy is Melton really making up for it. He's so important on both sides of the floor. He shoots at a high clip, DOGS opposing guards and is a hell of a good rebounder for his position.
