I think you explore literally every single option due to the lack of current resources, even if it means trading that pick for a cost-controlled player and more picks or just a lower first round pick and more ancillary picks. I would absolutely look for Daryl Morey to get creative before that pick has to be made.

Then you prepare to pivot and run it back like never for. I can’t explain the science but so much of what their future self will look like depends on the status of this pick.

Honestly, yes. I don’t think they are in a position to be picky anymore. It’s unfortunate but reality nonetheless. It’s time to look at further considerations on what this team can look like.
What’s one non-Nurse move they can do this summer to immediately improve morale/trajectory?
An overturn of the backend of the roster from older to younger and more athletic. It will take some creativity and a bit of bargain-hunting for sure, but It’s irresponsible to have a roster with this many guys who just can’t play anymore.
