Please defend your position that the Mavericks are “not one of the best four teams in the west”. The NBA finals take place in playoffs, not during the regular season. But somehow OKC and Minnesota, two teams that the mavs beat in the playoffs, are better teams? Why even have playoffs games when we can just judge teams solely by playoff seeding, based on the regular season.
Yes! And the Celtics are the number one overall seed in the NBA playoffs. So by your own internal logic they should have just crowned them champions before the playoffs even started!
You didn’t even get the headline correct. You got one word of the headline correct. So read the headline and article again because the tone is not satirical. It’s more, “ways to win the future social media wars”. You definitely know all the cool young internet language though. Just not the actual headline or tone of the article.
When you jumped in you wanted to embarrass me, not inform me, and telling me to “relax” is patronizing. Not very inclusive. I’m a big fan of podcast actually, and wanted to make a counter argument regarding the article, that’s all… but I honestly won’t bother you anymore. In all seriousness, I probably need to work on my own tone.
So in your view, “pre-coping” and “how to win arguments on social media” equates to “everything I’m about to write is false”? The article is about winning future arguments. But only people sitting at the cool kids table are allowed to argue. Only you and your writers have the privilege of arguing. I make an argument and get ridiculed. How dare me.
lol you have the ability to argue. You did. It's right there on the page. What are you talking about?
His article is about convincing himself and coping with the Celtics winning a title. It doesn't mean everything in the article is false. It means it's things he'll tell himself to feel better about it. I'm not sure you actually understand the tone. I'm not sure how you got to us but my gut is you haven't been here long and might not even be a sixers fan. Which is fine! But I can promise you the tone of the article and genesis of the idea is not about debating the legitimacy of each point.
As well, regarding your point. No, you cannot just say the top 4 teams in the regular season are the four best. But you also can't say the four remaining teams are the four best.
If this must happen, and let's hope it only need happen only once, maybe its for the best for it happen now and be done with it
“THIS IS ALL A COPE” is a much different headline compared to the more nuanced and correct headline… that’s probably why you lied about it.

I like this "no playoffs games" suggestion, means the Process Sixers have been Eastern Conference champions at least once already

Can't argue with that!
This guy just read an entire article that had a headline that was "THIS IS ALL A COPE" and responded like this.

But overall, relax.
