Big Barker Process Pups
Springfield, by way of Aruba, son of Spike and Valerie. Loves carrots, hates visitors, and is thankful to ARF Aruba.
Jaxx is an eight Year old Australian Sheppard. He's got two X's because he is two times the fun. Jaxx loves people, is on a RAW food diet and is a four for four dog due to getting treats when good things happen during games. He's often seen on his brother's Instagram account. Jaxx got his Big Barker before the Ricky logo version, but he does trust the process.
Ellie is an Old English Sheepdog that's still a puppy - she's only seven months old, but will soon grow to take up the entire bed. She's a huge Philly sports fan - along with her new bed, she has a Phillies jersey and Eagles football. Ellie's favorite Sixers player is J.J. Redick, as his ability to catch and shoot is perfect for playing fetch.
Fletcher is Process-trusting mixed breed, adopted from the Delaware Humane Association. He came to Delaware from Texas (likely as a part of the Nerlens trade). Fletch enjoys chasing after bunnies, walking around the park, and watching the Sixers win playoff series in 5
.Carson is a five month old Australian Shepherd/Labradoodle mix who lives with his parents Matt and Sharon in Douglassville, PA. His favorite activities include fetching, tug of war, receiving belly rubs, and plenty of #lickface. His favorite player is Ben Simmons, as they’re both Australian. (Editor's note: look at that smile! What a good boy!)
Bodhi is a 7-year-old black lab-pit bull mix rescued via the East Community Action Network in Nashville, TN. He enjoys long walks around Fairmount, treats, and T.J. McConnell picking guys up full court. He, of course, trusts the process.
Udi is a six-year-old APBT/Mastiff mix who has lived with his dad, DJ, since he was rescued from the City of Hartford Animal Shelter in late 2012. Udi's favorite Process-era Sixer is fellow "junkyard dog," Tony Wroten, as evidenced by the awe-inspiring effort he exerts on defense anytime he sees somebody dribbling a basketball. Udi once took a five-hour road trip from Hartford, CT to Philadelphia just so that his dad could chant "one, six, eleven!" and offer unprovoked cheers for Vlade Divac in May of 2015.
Rocky is a three year-old boxer who enjoys being outside and playing fetch. Rocky loves Joel Embiid and emphatically awaits a floor slap this playoffs from a 76er. Rocky has hip dysplasia and general joint pain, so when his dad Andrew listened to the podcast and heard about Big Barker he knew what he had to do. Rocky loves his new bed!
Corbin is a 9 ½ year old French Bulldog. He’s getting old but he’s still a frisky dude. He’s been a copilot for two cross country moves. He came up on the streets of New York, but has since seen the plains of the Midwest, the Rocky Mountains, the deserts of the Southwest, sunk his paws into the sandy beaches of both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and is now settled in the Philly ‘Burbs. He’s survived a rattlesnake bite, a scorpion sting, and back surgery. However, as you can see, nothing keeps this guy down for long. He deserves a nice bed (and we think he may need a bigger one)!
Mortie is a 4 and a half year old Olde English Bulldogge, who lives with his best friend and owner Marcus. He, of course, loves to sleep, eat, and play, but he will also just sit on the couch with Marcus and watch television, most notably sports, and most notably the Sixers. It's believed his favorite player are Joel Embiid and Dario Saric, but he has yet to say this out loud. He's a good boy.
Hallie (short for Halladay) is a six year-old golden retriever from Chester County, PA. She enjoys hanging out with her younger sister Charlotte, who she sometimes lets on her bed (as pictured). Her favorite hobby is chewing on rocks, which is fitting because her favorite Sixer is Rock Covington.
Maggie is a 5-year old mix (equal parts Chow, Akita, German Shepherd, French Bulldog, English Springer Spaniel, according to her DNA test) from Marlton, NJ by way of Tucson, Arizona. TJ McConnell is her favorite player, and she paws the floor in his honor.
Hercules is a ten month old Boxer. He was once a Jah truther, but now has turn his attention to Richaun Holmes. He’s a hard nose, constantly in your face, never tired, never leaving you alone energy bunny, so he’s definitely a TJ guy. And of course a good boy.
Elvis, adopted from the Providence Animal Shelter, is mostly a short haired Black Lab. He'ss a bundle of love, joy and playfulness, and we have no idea what life was like before him! He is among the most popular creatures in Lower Merion Township, and is considering a run for Commissioner! Elvis learned quickly to TTP, and thinks next season that Jonah Bolden will provide some of the athleticism and above the rim play we could use. He just wishes the games ended earlier so he could sleep on his Big Barker at a reasonable hour!
Crosby is a one-year-old pitbull mix from Collegeville, PA. His favorite activity is story time with Dad, which usually features a history lesson on "The Process." He feels a strong sense of anemoia for the Hinkie days, and his favorite Sixer is Justin Anderson (because they both look very, very tough)
Donovan is a good boy who likes tummy rubs and showing his impressive vert when his brother comes to visit, but also a bad boy who breaks into the pantry and eats cookies and granola bars when he's home by himself. His Big Barker Jr. is the perfect place for him to think about what he's done. He was retroactively named after Rookie of the Year Donovan Mitchell and he thinks the podcast is trash.
Cooper is a 12 year-old rescue, who is a lab-pit mix. He loves corner threes, TJ, and has a great spirit, as coach Brett Brown would say. He's never coming over.
Casper is a good girl. She's from Pittsburgh just like our favorite #PointGod TJ McConnell. She's clearly been lisntening to the pod when her dad Evan is not around because she's perfected the art of #lickface and knows how to enjoy a sport in Philadelphia.
Sam wouldn’t get on his new bed for a while because he’s not allowed in furniture and his dad thinks he felt guilty because it seemed too comfy for him to be allowed on. Now he lives on it and his hips seem to be improving. Thanks Big Barker!
Maddox is an (almost) two-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback that has looked this worried since he heard Ben Simmons won't switch hands in the offseason. He lives iwith Julia and EJ, he loves to eat, sleep, go for runs, and manipulate humans into giving him food and/or attention. His favorite Sixer is Dario because he reminds Maddox of what it was like growing into all 85 pounds of his body; clumsiness and flailing.
Andy was adopted from Lucky Dog DC in 2015 and has logged more meaningful minutes as a Sixer than Bynum . This OG process pup has seen some bad basketball withhis Dad and Mom. You can find Andy out for runs in Fairmount or playing fetch at baseball fields in Brewerytown. When he's not out and about he is asleep on his new Big Barker bed.
Ozzy is an Anatolian Shepherd but most importantly a diehard process truster. As you can see he is still a little angry over the sixers selling 2nd round picks for cash.
Nelly is a 10 year old Goldendoodle who lives in Gladwyne, PA. Nelly has trusted the process the entire time, and was a great source of comfort during the early years of the process. Her favorite player is Rock Covington and she will stand up to all of his haters. She loves watching her Sixers on her Big Barker dog bed, because it’s the official dog bed of The Process.
The tenacity and comparable size in the dog world of TJ McConnell, the anxiety of Markelle Fultz, and the confidence of Joel Embiid, Buddy is a 13 year-old Yorkie. While Buddy’s dad is from Philly, he is not only Ohio born and raised, he believes that he’s the real king, and that the Process does not need LeBron. He might not be able to slap the hardwood, but he’s not afraid to pee on it.
Bruiser, much like his spirit animal TJ McConnell, is an excitable little terrier who plays extremely hard. After a long day of guarding (the yard) for 94 feet, Bruiser needs a comfortable bed to relax. The Barker Junior has been a perfect fit for this 12-year old Patterdale Terrier! Bruiser loves napping nearly as much as he loves chasing small animals, games of his tug, and his salmon treats. Trust it!
Sixer got his brand new Big Barker on his 7th birthday on 6/9 (nice). He got it a few hours after the most tumultuous 10-day span in 76ers history ended with Bryan Colangelo hitting the road. He was able to relax in relief in full comfort. With a 2.5 year old human brother and another baby Process truster on the way in December, he may be the only one in the house to get a peaceful night's sleep.
Rusty is a 1 year old red fox lab. He loves playing fetch, lick(face)ing strangers, swimming in the ocean and rough housing with other pups. Rusty is deep in Celtics country and he often humps other dogs without mercy in the neighborhood until they say the name. After a big day of activity, Rusty loves curling up on his Big Barker to dream up New Slants.
Lindy is a two year old golden retriever/black lab mix who was recently adopted from friends of the Ricky charity Justice Rescue. When she's not on her Big Barker Dog bed she acts as a 60 lb lap dog and flumps around just like her favorite Sixer, Dario!
Riptide Franklin, the goodest boy, is a two-year-old blue nose pitt bull mix. Named after the street shark Ripster/the ocean & his favorite blue mascot, @SixersFranklin. Included in the Jahlil Okafor trade in December, he was rescued from Newark, NJ Humane Society thanks to @passionforpitties!
Now living the yard life in Conshy as a process pup with his comfy Big Barker bed and salmon dinners. Riptide bleeds green, trusts the process and reminds everyone the picks swapped.
Sir Charles is a four month old shepherd mix from Antigua. After being drafted with the help of the Animal Haven shelter at 3 months old and 9 pounds, Barkley shot down the rumors that he would never come over and took advantage of his parents’ nutrition and strength program to pack on 9 pounds of muscle in the off-season. Barkley loves to mix it up with dogs five times his size on the streets of New York City. Though he wasn’t around for the Hinkie era, Barkley’s dad regals him with naptime stories of Hollis Thompson, Arnett Moultrie, and Chu Chu Maduabum every day on his Barker Junior.
These Process Pups are Brandy (12 years old) and Ella (just turned 1)! Brandy needed a new bed to energize those old legs so she can stop doing her best Ersan impression by falling on the hardwood 3-4 times a day. It's a bonus that Ella enjoys the new bed too so she can experience a great bed for a future that's just as bright as the Sixers'.
Nellie is a 60-lb mix of who knows what (we think there’s some Shar-Pei in there somewhere). She’s almost 13-years old and couldn’t wait to try out her Big Barker! Her parents rescued her back in 2005 as a puppy from a local shelter. She’s a total Process Truster and loves Joel Embiid. When her parents heard about Big Barker dog beds on the Ricky they knew they had to give them a try. Nellie’s glad we did!
Ruthie is an 11 month old Bloodhound, Plott Hound, Lab mix. She loves to howl, whine, chew, sniff, and watch Summer League. She tells anyone that will listen that Markelle Fultz' jump shot will be fine. She is looking forward to many years of retreating back to her Big Barker while her dad yells at the TV during Sixers and Eagles games.
Sunny is a 4-year-old Sheltie. She is the smartest most loving dog the great LL Pavorsky and his family have ever had. She loves everyone but is a Mommy's girl till the end. At a young age, Sunny suffered a terrible attack by a bulldog and had to undergo reconstructive surgery and months of rehab. She has made a complete recovery so much so that you would never know she almost didn't make it. She absolutely loves her Big Barker bed and especially loves the Ricky upgrade. She is, of course, a big Sixers fan!
Nola is a process pup who loves watching the Sixers with her mom/ She also enjoys listening to the podcasts on their morning or evening walks. Mom makes sure to walk with no earphones so that Nola can listen in. She loves all the Sixers but especially Embiid
Oscar is a 9 year-old Pug. He's a little top-heavy, so the Big Barker Junior is good for his joints. His favorite bands are Nickelback and Daughtry and his favorite Process-era Sixer is Danny Granger.
Gus is a true process pup. He has watched all 82 games with his dad.
My name is Max (Max wrote this - ed.) and I am an 11 year old English Staffordshire Bull Terrier who lives with his Dad Matt, Mum Lauren and his little brothers Mitchell and Oliver just outside of Canberra, Australia.
My Dad and Mum recently got me a Big Barker and I love it, nearly as much as eating chicken necks and running around the backyard. We all love the Sixers especially Ben and TJ.
Roxy is a thirteen year old weimaraner who loves taking long walks with her mom (she is indifferent towards dad). She drove across the country with her parents and now lives in California. She loves laying out in the sun, but still misses hunting squirrels in Washington Square. The Big Barker bed gives her a place to rest her tired hips comfortably, so she can continue taking long walks through her retirement!
Harper is a 6 month old Golden Lab. She went from homeless to process and enjoys bed time stories of the MCW trade. She hopes to see the picks swap just once in her lifetime and is convinced that Hinkie is the one that leaked Colangelo’s burner accounts. We can't get over what a good dog Harper is.
Roofus is a 14 year old chocolate lab who just completed a move from Elkins Park to Orlando in exchange for a fake first round draft pick and 3 milk bones. His favorite players are Joel Embiid, who he thinks will win MVP, and JJ Redick, because Roofus's game has also aged like a fine wine. He loves sleeping on his Big Barker which he says is softer than Hassan Whiteside.
Maggie is a 12 year old pointer bay. She loves to roam the woods and watch the Sixers from her Big Barker perch. Maggie has a small TTP tattoo above her left dewclaw.
A truster through and through, Lilly is a rescue from Delco SPCA (now Providence Animal Shelter) as a 10 week old puppy. Lil’ is now 4 years old living in Audubon, PA with her caregiver, Joe. Lil’ is truly the TJ of dogs. As an undersized pitbull-terrier (mix) she is incredibly obedient and playful and will always leave you with a smile. When morale is low Lil comes to you with the wettest licks on the face. She’s even trained to slap the floor before getting a treat. Hopefully this Big Barker works and Lil will reek havoc for eternity. See you at the Bark in the Park in October!
Introducing 2018-19 Process Pup Rookie of the Year candidate, Jazz. Donovan Mitchell couldn’t take home the award last year, so Utah can take some consolation in her success this upcoming season. Jazz is a friendly and charismatic 6-year-old English Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix that lives with her Process Trusting family in South Jersey. Jazz’s favorite Process Sixers are Jerami Grant, Tony Wroten and of course Joel Embiid. Jazz maintains her support for Sam Hinkie and through it all she plans to stay a believer.
Tonka is an Old School Chevy, a seven-year-old, 90-lbs Borador (Lab and Border Collie mix), who was rescued from North Carolina after his original owners passed away to make a fresh start in Lawrenceville, NJ. With his shiny coat and veteran presence, he excels at shepherding the youth and playing fetch.
Piper is a 2-3 year old American Staffordshire/Border Collie mix who was abandoned in South Carolina and rescued by Wet Nose Rescue in Feasterville, PA. When we met her it was love at first sight. Piperloves playing fetch, cuddling, and sleeping on her Big Barker Bed. She still can’t believe Dario came over or that the picks swapped.
We don’t know anything about Figo, other than Figo is clearly a good dog.
Nox is a very cool name, but this little guy’s name was almost TJ if his dad had his way. Nox was found wandering the streets of Mexico, looking for extra second round picks. He was found and adopted, and now lives with his mom and dad in San Diego. Nox loves his Big Barker, but also loves Frosty Paws ice-cream, his Kong toy and frisbees. He’s a fan of naps, car rides, tug of war, and play time, especially with other pups.
Jesse is a 5 year old Wire Fox Terrier who enjoys Brett Brown postgame press conferences and chasing squirrels. Jesse was re-homed 3 times in his first year but has been with his parents Zach and Lauren since 2014. His favorite Sixer is TJ McConnell, his favorite burner is enoughunkownsources, and he loves lounging on his Barker Jr.!
Georgia is an 11 week old Schnauzer/Shi Tzu mix rescue dog. She enjoys chewing bones and occasionally ankles. Being a particularly scrappy dog, she is a huge TJ McConnell fan and anxiously awaits the day that he slaps the floor
Abraham is an 8 year old black lab who loves going for walks outside, especially when he gets to meet new dog friends. He's much more active and excitable than his grey hair would suggest. He also enjoys relaxing on his bed while we watch the Sixers, unless he weasels his way in between his mom and dad on the couch.
Linkin Abraham is a seven years young Silver Labrador Retriever. No, he is not a Weimaraner. He has the softest fur in all the land and that is mostly because he has alopecia. This means his protective Labrador Retriever coat never came in, so he is all puppy fuzz and soft as blanket. Due to his special fur and unique color, he loves all the extra attention he gets! Linkin has been trusting the process since his mama met his daddy two years ago, and he got his Big Barker as a "Best Boy" gift when they got married this past summer.
Luna is a one year old rescue pooch who sprung for the Big Barker crate pad to snooze on while her parents are off at work. In her moments of solitude relaxing on her bed she often ponders what could have been if Dave Silver had not hired Colangelo and forced out Sam Hinkie. She enjoys taking walks on Connecticut beaches while wearing her normal collar and finding new slants along the sand.
Cory is a 14-15 year old Chow/Chihuahua/Spaniel mix who was rescued from Taiwan in 2009. Cory loves playing with his toys, scrounging for treats, and digging and napping on his Big Barker. Like all Sixers first round picks, Cory’s fought through a number of injuries and chronic health conditions, but he's never lost his good spirits or happy go lucky attitude, just like his favorite former and forever Sixer Rock Covington. He would love if you followed him on Instagram!
A senior chocolate lab, Nelly, got a Big Barker as her Christmas present this year since she’s started showing signs of achy joints. She was a rescue, so we don’t know exactly how old she is, but her parents have had her since 2010 and even though she’s still pretty frisky, they want to make sure she stays that way! She stays busy for an older dog, taking several walks a day, running around the backyard, and visiting local elementary schools as a therapy dog in autistic support classrooms. So far, the Big Barker has been great for her. She can spread out and rest her muscles after long days. She watches every Sixers game with her mom Anna and is a true Process pup! Her favorite player will always be Dario, but as far as current Sixers, she’s a Jojo fan. She is very excited to have Boban joining us in Philly, too.
Nikki is named after Nick Foles, which may have happened if Mike Levin wasn’t so wrong about him. She’s an 8 week old Siberian Husky and her dad was on a sled dog team. She’s a little small for her Big Barker right now but from the looks of it, she’ll grow into it nicely.
Fletcher (named after Fletcher Cox) is a Huskie/Chocolate Lab Mix puppy and loves his new Big Barker. He demanded the Process Pup Patch on both sides and must have his Big Barker in front of all Sixers games. He sports his AirPods in the morning to listen to The Ricky Podcast with his morning treat.
Henry is the official dog of #RTRSrelisten. He is a black lab and love T.J. McConnell. He is pro Brett Brown but is still unsure about Elton.
Sandy is a four year old bush dog/mut. Much like our process savior, she was available later than expected in the draft because of an injury. Sandy comes from a mountainous area of Southern Tanzania, where she had been abandoned because of an injury that took most of her front left leg. Her (current) owners were serving in the Peace Corps there, scooped her up, and she has gone everywhere with them since. She's a tough little dog who likes to rough house and doesn't take crap from anyone. For the last few months, she has been sleeping on a barker junior because she is at a heightened risk of developing arthritis because of how she has to compensate for her missing limb.
Lucas is a two year old coonhound/beagle mix who finally came over from the Delaware Humane Association a year ago. Woefully underweight at adoption (possibly from a sesame allergy), he has been rehabbing in DE for most of the season, and with his weight back up, he is now hoping to use his wingspan and athleticism to make a springtime impact at a dog park near you.
Rigby is an 8 year old Spaniel mix. While she insists on sleeping in her parents’ bed, she loves having her Barker Junior in the living room to hang out. Her favorite activity is fashioning a nest out of her fleece Eagles blanket on top of the Barker, repeatedly reshaping it and circling around until she has it just right. If she were a Sixer, she would be TJ, because she is small, lightning quick and she’ll swoop in and swipe your socks when you’re not looking.

If she were a Sixer, she would be TJ, because she is small, lightning quick and she’ll swoop in and swipe your socks when you’re not looking.
Spike (named for Spike) just got his new Big Barker and he loves it! He's not sure about Party Boy and he still wishes Jimmy wasn't on the team, but he's been trusting the process all the way from California ever since he got the bed.
Riley is a 13 year old Cocker Spaniel who has been watching the Sixers since AI and AI2 roamed the Wells Fargo Center. He enjoys to #Lickface when he’s not out of the lineup resting with gastroenteritis, but always shows up for Game 7’s.
Otto is a two year old French Bulldog originally from the Czech Republic currently living in Dubai, UAE with his Process Parents. Otto loves waking up early in the morning to watch the Sixers with his Philly born dad and sitting on his Big Barker by the window watching the boats pass by in the Marina. His favorite Sixer is Jimmy Buckets as he’s got the same “dog” in him and he’s always frustrated at JJ’s lack of willingness to chase down loose balls (one of his other favorite activities).
Snowy is a 5 year old Pit Bull mix adopted from the PSPCA. He now lives in South Philly, and enjoys cuddling, playing with his toys, and falling asleep to classical music. He has some problems with his back legs, so he is currently out for load management. Also, his mom is a Celtics fan. Despite this, he’s a happy process pup and the Big Barker is helping his legs.
She's always supported Hinkie and even hopes to attend one of his Stanford Lectures some day. She still whines about the Nerlens and Okafor trades, and although she likes Tobias, is really upset that the Sixers gave up the Miami pick and Spike's lost brother to get him.
Penny also just survived a three-day road trip from Portland, OR back to Oklahoma City, home to quite possibly the most annoying fans in the NBA. This bed will help her sleep peacefully at night knowing the Sixers and Thunder are two franchises moving in opposite directions.
Named after Earl the Pearl Monroe who made a big impression on her human when he was a kid, she trusts the process as long as the process involves getting food twice a day at regular times. A few treats and walks increase her faith. She harbors serious doubts about Jimmy Butler, but leaps on the Jimmy Buckets band wagon whenever he has one of those 4th quarters.
Sawyer just got a Big Barker from his mom and dad for his 2nd birthday. Much like Jimmy Butler, Sawyer loves taking rides in his minivan, mostly to the shore with his parents. He’s hoping they run it back, while his parents just hope he doesn’t get gastroenteritis in the house again. Unlike Party Boy, Sawyer can be found on social media on his Instagram account.
Oscar (follow on Instagram) is a 2 year old Shepherd mix rescue who recently had surgery to repair a torn ACL. He’s ignored all load management advice from former sixers medical staff and is strictly rehabbing in the pool and on his big barker bed. #Lickface is his credo.
Holly is a 9-year-old mutt from Harrisburg, PA. She loves the team but really misses Markelle. It was the shoulder.
Boban is a 3.5 month old labradoodle. That’s all we got.
Bentley is a one year old Lab who is also a Providence Animal Center alumnus. Like any good Process rookie, he recently had to have surgery on one of his legs, but he’ll be re-evaluated in three weeks. Although he hates load management like his favorite Sixer Joel Embiid, he’s getting through it by taking lots of naps on his Big Barker. He has some concerns about the new team’s offensive fit, but is excited for a defense that’s as ferocious as his tug game.
Hilde is a 5 1/2 month old process pup from Haddonfield, NJ. Her offseason training program includes frisbees, chasing squirrels, and waking her parents up at 5:45am for walks. Her ankle breaking moves playing chase come from Tony Wroten. After sniffing through the evidence she has determined that no...that’s not a normal collar and she will not find a new slant.
Sammy is, sadly, not named for Hinkie, his dad’s wife names their dogs and she’s a Lakers fan. He’s a 10 year old Cavalier who recently developed some old man joint problems. My first thought was to buy this bed and he already loves it, they wish they had done it sooner. Thanks Eric and the rest of the gang at Big Barker. TTP
A 10 year old pug who recently moved to Alaska and became a big Sixers fan. In the offseason, he loves to go on backcountry hikes, and the big Barker helps him to recover quickly. He’s a big Matisse Thybulle fan. Nobody in summer league thought Matisse could shoot and nobody thinks Napoleon can hike, but they’re both out to disprove the haters. Napoleon loves the refrain, “you know... lickface” and does it every time Embiid dunks.
Penny is a 6(ish) year old pit bull mix from BARC, which is a wonderful rescue group in Southeast Virginia. Penny snarls any time she hears the name Anzejs Pasecniks, and she’s always appreciated what Al Horford brings to the court even when it doesn’t show up in the box score. She is a very calm, sweet pup and, while she sleeps on our bed at night, she loves hanging out on the Big Barker when it’s not already being occupied by a process human (as pictured). The Big Barker is keeping the whole family’s joints limber so we’re ready to leap off the couch when Mike Scott drills a buzzer beating 3 to win the championship this year.
Ada is named after Ada Lovelace, the world's first computer programmer and advocate for advance basketball metrics. She is part Carolina Dog, also known as the American Dingo, and shepherd. She is two years old and has been a Horford Appreciator from day one. The bed is perfect for her, as she is either running around in the backyard or resting up for her next work out. Two of her favorite things in the world are her Koala toy (a nod to Ben Simmons) and her dad's old Philly Phanatic shirt.
This is Walter. He’s a 1 year old Maltese/Yorkie from South Philly via Murray, Kentucky. His all time favorite Sixer is Isaiah Canaan, though he wasn’t yet born when he was on the team.
Brody is an 8 month old Cavapoo hailing from the streets of Southampton PA. In his free time, Brody likes to play Tug of War, hide under couches and watch his Sixers dominate (although he’s having a hard time adjusting to life without TJ...) He’s a true #ProcessPup who will most likely have eaten this awesome patch by the time you’ve read this #TTP
Finley is a Labrador/St. Bernard mix from Atlanta, GA. Finley has developing arthritis and lays on the bed after every walk or adventure
Sawyer is a 6 year old rescue pup weighing in at over 90 lbs. He recently underwent major knee surgery for a torn cruciate, but he isn’t letting his restricted minutes get him down. He’s happy to finally be on the road to recovery and looks forward to defending the perimeter (of the dog park) again soon.
Jazzy is a 10 year old Min Pin rescue who was traded to Philly from Charlotte. Like Embiid, she sometimes struggles with gastroenteritis, but that doesn’t keep her from putting up big numbers on bone chewing and long walks. Jazzy excels in small ball lineups on the hardwood. Even though she is a female dog, in true Mike Scott (and now Embiid) fashion, “she ain’t no bitch”, and never backs down from a dog disagreement.
Shake is named after the band and Shake Milton. In true sixers rookie fashion Shake the pup was diagnosed with a torn ACL. However, in what we
believe to be a clear attempt of solidarity with the Sixers medical staff, 4 weeks later the vet backtracked and said he didn't actually tear his ACL it was just a sprain. Shake was thrilled to go back to doggy daycare instead of "resting" all day for 6 weeks (puppies don't do rest).
Gus, a 2.5 yr old chocolate lab, has been a Sixers fan since day one. He loves his Big Barker and thinks he could teach Joel a thing or two about load management. He goes hard for tug-of- war and enjoys his long walks but looks forward to going upstairs at the end of a long day to crash on his Barker.
This is Goose, he is a 4-year old Hound Mix rescue from Chalfont, PA. He demands to go on 2.5 mile walks every day (no matter the weather), and appreciates the extra support on his body compared to what he was getting from his old, flat dog bed. He’s still getting used to using his Big Barker, but if there’s anything that we have learned over the years, it’s that you have to Trust The Process.
7 years old in January. Rescued as a puppy from Indiana April 2012. RoCo is still her favourite Sixer.
Rest in Peace Process Pup Baxter (right), who crossed the rainbow bridge this week. We send our love to his dad Brian and his girlfriend who adopted Bax at 10 years old and helped him through various ailments. His spirit lives on in Linkin (left), and with the memories he helped make. We wish love and health to everyone involved.
Cali is an 11 year old australian heeler mix that models her game after process legend TJ McConnell. She is a real blue collar player who started her career as a stray in West Virginia, but opted into a process family 10 years ago on a long term deal. Cali loves her Big Barker more than Joel loves Shirley Temples. Cali's Mom thinks Furkan is a dark horse for Most Improved Player and holds out hope that Zhaire will make multiple game winning chase down blocks in the 2022 playoffs. Her Dad just misses Cory Brewer.
Gizmo is a four year old bichon mix, Gizmo. He came from Georgia through a rescue in Horsham. He has a very important day job where he goes to work with his mom and helps with animal assisted therapy so she wanted to make sure his little joints were supported while he lays around at night and watches the sixers with her. He likes to try to destroy everything and we are really happy with the quality of the barker junior because he has not been able to put a hole in it yet. Great purchase.
Benny is an energetic, incredibly soft, 10 month old lab/pit mix currently residing in South Philadelphia, adopted from the mean streets of South Jersey. Like his namesake, he’s aggressive when defending his treats and his jumper is a work in progress. Just believe us when we say he makes them in practice (carefully curated practice video coming soon).
Charleston was a family addition amidst the Corona quarantine. He was rescued from an SPCA in Pittsburgh, much like TJ McConnell was rescued from Duquesne to play his heyday in AZ. When Charleston’s owners attempted to buy him a bed on Amazon, Charles pulled an Embiid and bought himself a Big Barker. He has yet to be subjected to the current iteration of the Sixers. So innocent. TTP.
Shadow is a good girl who made it from Mississippi all the way to Center City thanks to the folks at Brandywine Valley SPCA. She loves peanut butter, hates baths, and has a penchant for terrorizing the squirrels of Rittenhouse Square. “I’ll really sleep on anything,” she said, “but the best naps are on my Big Barker, naturally.”
When they’re not squeaking their toys or eating food, they love to watch the Sixers. Neither were old enough to be around for Hinkie, so they get to hear all the stories about “the old times” and how much we love TJ. When Jasper barks, it sounds like he says “RoCo” instead of “woof,” but who’s to say. Lucy decided her favorite player was Shake Milton, so we can thank her for the 39 point game. At least they get to grow up with Ben and Joel on the team.
Elsa is a 10 year old German Shepard, she is a big and lovable cuddle bear who loves snuggles and kisses but when it comes to BALL… BALL IS LIFE! Elsa is a matchup nightmare. This wide bodied crafty vet is armed with unparalleled athleticism. A dynamic performer, she can run, jump and #lickface. She outplays both her taller and quicker opponents due to her unusual combination of strength and agility not to mention her savant like awareness and intelligence. Elsa has trusted the process to a fault. Thankful for her BIG BARKER she manages her load in comfort while immobilized with dreams and aspirations unfulfilled staring at the wall wondering “What if Hinkie was never pushed out?! How many championships?!”
Meet Professor Henry Sims Higgins. Repping the process within walking distance of the Brooklyn Nets. Loves his Lil Barker. His dad snuck Sims into his name after his wife (lifelong Cavs fan) shot down his Sixers-themed names.
Eight weeks old, 20 pounds, and the newest member of his household. He will be the perfect sixth man for our squad. Just like the round mound of rebound, Barkley, a Burnese Mountain Dog, has joined us ready play. And just like his name sake, we expect he’ll pack on the pounds and be a real impact in our household. We haven’t broken the turrible news to him about the suspended season, fortunately AU’s column is keeping him occupied, TTP!
Lexi is a former stray, nine year-old black lab who picked her home by taking some laps in the pool a year ago. She has always been a ball of chaotic energy but gets a little sore now after running. The Big Barker vastly improved her recovery time and she thinks every serious athlete should have one. Favorite Process Sixer is Justin Anderson due to his defensive intensity and she hopes to race him one day.
Finn is an 11 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves playing with toys and lounging on his Barker Jr. Finn is a good boy who will patiently wait for the next Ricky to download so that he can listen along with his family. Staying at home for many months in 2020 may have helped bring Finn together with his new family, but he is ready for basketball to return so he can fully TTP and listen to daily playoff pods!
We adopted Tilly a few weeks ago and she’s been an absolute dream. She’s a mix of unknown breeds who came to Philly by way of Georgia through Saved Me. Her innocence and goofy personality remind me of Matisse, but I’ll let her select her own favorite player once games return (hopefully safely and soon).
Bailey is a 4 year old Staffy mix rescue from Manayunk, who loves cuddling with her parents, Ashley and Matthew, as much as she loves flumpy clumping. The only thing she loves more than a good belly rub is when the picks swap. Her dislikes are loud noises and Dave Silver. #lickface
Semi (the big pit mix) and Savage (the scrappy doo looking dog). Their parents this big barker a few years ago for Semi and the new pup in town showed up on the block and has taken to the Barker as well....
Kiko might be from Miami, but he does not like Jimmy Butler one bit. Similar to the Sixers, he is much more defensive and protective at home, and tends to cower and try to hide when he's away from it. He's had his bed for a while, but didn't want to share it. Eventually we were able to take it from him and let his sister, Ava (the lovebird and who we believe to be the first ever process parrot) get some time with it as well.
Ava is 15 and the bed is perfect for her old bird joints. Ava's favorite player was Robert Covington, however she has found a new appreciation for Matisse as she can relate to his wingspan and enjoys his antics off the court.
Penny is a 1 year old mix between an Australian Cattle Dog and an Australian Shepard who was adopted by her parents from a rescue called Recyled Tails during the Covid-19 pandemic. Penny has not yet experience live Sixers basketball but has already decided her favorite player is Ben Simmons since they are both Australians. She also thinks it was very considerate of the NBA to put the season on hold while Ben got healthy so that he could play in the playoffs. Her favorite activities include barking at the local tricycle gang riding in our cul-de-sac, snuggling with her parents, and being chased around the living room no less than 400 times per night. Penny loves her Barker Jr, and plans to watch the Sixers from it once basketball returns.
Despite living in the heart of Celtics country and not being born during an actual basketball season, Indiana (Indy) is a certified good boy and process truster. He is a 10 week old golden lab. His favorite treat is an ice cold Vallone's spicy brown mustard soft pretzel water. Stay free my goose.
Cody (6) was rescued from a NYC pet store that was shut down for poor animal treatment and Wrenly (2) was adopted a few years later. These two boys crossed the Atlantic with their parents to London in 2019 but stay up late with their Philly born Dad to watch the Sixers blow 3rd quarter leads. Cody has disc issues in his back and his Big Barker is a huge help. Their fondest Sixers memory was refreshing Twitter on May 29th, 2018 as Cody has a severe issue with abnormally large collars, they usually just fall right off his head.
Trotter passed away in July, 2020, after 14 wonderful years. He was adopted from ACCT in North Philly when he was 8 weeks. He marched down Broad Street the night the phillies won, ran miles at Kelly Drive and later transitioned into a suburban dog and big brother to our 3 daughters. We will miss him.
Zurich is a patterpoo (half patterdale terrier, half poodle/bichon), West Philly born and Brewerytown raised. He's a tenacious defender and has already chased more loose balls than J.J. Redick has in his entire life. Can't shoot to save his life. Philly through and through, his favorite toy is a cheesesteak-flavored bone that he loves to chew on his Big Barker. Named after a Pavement song, he's a bit of a hipster, but when it comes to belly rubs he's not too discerning.
Liam (8 years old, left) and Kipton (4 years old, right) are American Brittanys who have become Process Pups over the years. As second-cousins born in Lyons, Colorado, Liam and Kipton enjoy playing fetch, going on runs, and listening to the podcast.
Tobi is a 2 year old Cane Corso Mix from Philadelphia, PA where he lives with his parents, Lindsay and Joe, after being rescued from the ACCT right before lockdowns for COVID-19. Goofy and a gentle giant, Tobi loves playing at the dog park and making as many new friends as he can as long as they trust the process. Favorite player will likely be his namesake but we'll see if that happens once games pick up.
Originally from Gainesville, FL this process pup Tucker has a true Philly heart. Much like his favorite player, Joel Embiid, Tucker has been through it with a herniated disc in his neck and two partially torn ACLs. He’s almost back to himself and, much like a Shirley Temple for Jo, Tuck thanks his Big Barker for keeping his joints happy and a smile on his face.
Rosie is a three-year old Shih-Tzu/Maltese mix who lives in San Francisco, California. Her favourite hobbies include chasing blowing leaves like Matisse chasing point guards around screens, wolfing down meals like Joel Embiid swallowing up shots in the paint, and taking long naps, like the rest of the NBA sleeping on Alec Burks sneakily becoming the best shooter in the league during COVID.
She doesn't watch the Sixers, but she loves listening to the Rights to Ricky Sanchez. This bed has been everything we hoped for and more. About two months after we bought it Shelby, our husky, became sick with pyometra. She was barely able to move and had lots of leakage. It was so amazing that we had just bought a bed we knew she could lay on all da and be comfortable and supported, while also not being concerned if it got dirty. After surgery she stayed in the bed for several days without moving much. With all the worries we had we were so thankful that her comfort was not one of them. Thanks guys for letting us know about this amazing company so she could be supported in her time in need.
Brody is a one year old yellow lab, retired service dog formerly with the VetDogs. He was discharged from the program to become our pet following his recent elbow dysplasia surgery. When Big Barker learned of his rehabilitation, its Ops Manager Kerry mailed sent us a bottle of CBD oil with a long note. Here is Brody relaxing on his new bed using the handy headrest.
Dougie is the younger brother to Original Process Pup Cooper (RIP). He’s a 10-year-old Plott Hound that is just tired; tired of this front office, tired of this team, tired of COVID. He hates other dogs but loves humans so much, kind of the opposite of Spike. He enjoys summer’s at his Rehoboth Beach house, Ben, and Ricky offseason pods. TTP.
Charlie is a hound mix from Tennessee rescued by the PSPCA. He was adopted in 2018 because of the TJ game against the Celtics, but unfortunately his mom didn’t let the name stick. He lives in Fairmount and loves playing fetch on the Parkway, walks on the river trail, and hates when his brother the cat takes over the Big Barker.
Dexter just got a Big Barker bed for his birthday. He is a lion-sized Goldendoodle. Dex loves watching Joel bang around down low, but always barks when he takes too many threes. I originally wanted to name him Andrew Wiggins, as I was convinced that’s who the Sixers would wind up drafting, so thank god I didn’t. We decided to name him after Dexter Pittman instead (just kidding, but I’m sure Mike was a fan at some point). We love the bed!
Splinter hails from Seattle, but since moving to Philadelphia 4 years ago he quickly became a true Process Pup. He has generally chosen to listen to sixers games from behind the couch to shield himself from the pain.
Jasper is an 11 year old lab mix. In his free time, he loves eating and chewing on his soup bones. He also loves trying to chase squirrels in the park. Most of all he loves sleeping in his Big Barker bed and dreaming of Scott O’Neil no longer being in the Sixers front office.
Buddy got initiated immediately, as he listened to the podcast on his way home yesterday when his dad picked him up. Amazing service from The dynamic duo of Eric and Hank, as his Big Barker came the very next day. Buddy is totally down with TTP and actually shared a kennel with lickface.
Princess Leia is a 6 month old lab/pit/not-sure-what-else mix from South Jersey. She loves going for long walks, playing fetch, snuggling with her humans, and stealing napkins from the dinner table. She was brought to her forever home through Woof Love Rescue!
Charlie is 10 years old and just had his torn ACL repaired in July. He loves nothing more than chasing balls and swimming. After his surgery, we knew that in addition to the proper recovery, the most important thing for him is getting a bed that supports his joints. Charlie is not fully recovered from his surgery yet, but now that he’s sleeping on his Big Barker, he’s already moving more comfortably. Charlie is the best boy in the world, and he deserves the best bed to support him and his longevity. We really appreciate the handwritten note we received with his bed. Recovering from surgery was tough, especially since Charlie lives for his daily walks and ball chasing sessions. But like all of us, he trusts the process and his Big Barker is setting him up for plenty more walks, hikes, and laps in the pool.
Aero loves his Big Barker. His little sister decided she wanted to hop on it the next night and see how she liked it.
When she isn’t sitting around regretting the Butler for Covington and Saric trade, she can be found in her new Big Barker bed watching every game Sixers game next to her owners’ sides.
Zach and his wife live in Jersey and got her 5 years ago from North Shore Animal League, but she’s a rescue from Oklahoma who isn’t too fond of cold weather. So, she loves nothing more than to sleep in front of our baseboard heater, on a heating pad, on her Barker Junior. She’s still not used to stepping off of a bed with that much support(!) and trips sometimes, but she’ll figure it out. I’m sure she’s wondering why we didn’t buy one sooner.
Jack has hip issues (shocking I know) and is getting old so Craig got them a Big Barker for Christmas. Jack loves it! Literally climbed on and fell asleep in two minutes. Craig kept the patches for himself since his parents don’t know anything about the Podcast, but they sure do love the new dog bed. Anything that makes their dog happy makes them happy.
Guinness is a 10 year-old boxer, pit-bull, and Boston Terrier mix who was rescued at 4 weeks old from a farmer at an old gas station in rural North Carolina. He weighs in at a stout 60 lbs, and recently retired from his zoomies days to the comfort of his new Big Barker™. "Guinnie" has always had a soft spot for 40% corner 3-pt shooters, particularly Hollis Thompson. However, these days he's taken a liking to Shake, given their similar sleek, muscular builds without any signs of smoker's arms. Joints well-rested. 5 stars.
Stella is a Terrier/Chihuahua mix adopted from Pawsitive Vibes Animal Rescue. She lives with her parents in Wynnewood, PA. This tiny dog shows a ton of grit, destroying chew toys with the best of them. Her favorite Sixer is TJ McConnell.
Sophie is a 12 year old hound mix we adopted from the SPCA 10 years ago. She’s the best dog. She’s a prolific hunter and napper who loves her stuffed animals. Her joints are getting stiff and we wanted her to have a more supportive bed for when she gets tired of laying on the couch. My wife asked me to look for a new dog bed and I told her I already knew which one to buy. I started to explain the pod, thought better of it and just read about the bed from the Big Barker site. Sophie’s been sleeping soundly since the new bed arrived.
Chrouser’s breed is unknown because he’s a man of mystery. But what’s bnot a mystery is his love and affection! Chrouser is 9 weeks old and is a growing boy, he’s going to fill out his bed in no time. I haven’t introduced him to the Sixers yet but the boy will learn. I’d like to think his favorite Sixer will be Matisse because they have similar play styles, but only time will tell!
Toby is a 2 year old rescue shepherd mix from Austin, TX. He loves chasing squirrels, chewing on bones and antlers, and peanut butter. His favorite Sixer is his partial namesake Tobias Harris- even though he admits the contract is an overpay, he's glad Tobias is on the team. His first sports memories were the terrible Sixers bubble playoff and even worse Eagles season, so he is optimistic about this upcoming Sixers run and believes the long-term future of the team is in good hands with Daryl.
Samwell is a 4 year old lab who had to sleep a few weeks on a patchless bed because his mom accidentally threw out his process pup patches. The replacement patches arrived and Sam is now happy on his #1 seed throne. Thank you, Big Barker.
Like any Sixer, the day we acquired her as a young prospect (8 week rescue), we found ourselves in the ER that night. She had parvo from her rescue and we were devastated. Unlike most Sixers, she made a quick and complete recovery. She has performed well beyond our expectations and is an incredibly good pup. At a little over two years old she hasn't reached her prime yet, but she has done more for our organization than we could have ever imagined.
Charlie has been a Sixers fan since he came to PA from Tennessee in 2016. He is a dachshund mix, and misses having cheerleader TJ on the team.
She’s a 7-ish year old Pitty mix that was an unexpected addition to our family in January 2021. She was brought to me (a vet) for humane euthanasia after being diagnosed with a few medical conditions that her family was unable to treat. Ultimately we decided the best option for everyone was to surrender Lila to me to be treated and re-homed. We decided almost immediately that her temporary home with us would be permanent. With a few surgeries behind her now, she’s adjusting to life as a city pup with her big brother Sawyer to show her the way. She prefers to sleep on top of any available person, but if that’s not an option, her next favorite place is on her Big Barker with a fuzzy blanket on top.
Thor is a 1 year old English Bulldog from New York, but never was a fan of the Knicks. He loves sleeping, eating, being carried up the art museum steps, and successful Frosty Freeze-Outs. His dislikes are Rich Paul, Ben Simmons workout videos and JJ Redick.
Maggie May was rescue from a puppy mill in Kentucky and loves her new big barker. She was born in 2013 right around the time of “trust the process”. She has been committed to the team and patiently watched her dad go through the emotional roller coaster of being a Sixers fan.
Pancake is a 3 month old mini bernedoodle who loves watching the Sixers (she actually does sit and watch the TV). She gets up every morning ready to play with her toys and trust the process on her big barker bed. Much like her favorite player Matisse she certainly isn't camera shy and is always smiling having a good time!
Charli just eats, sleeps and gets buckets. And unlike 25 he doesn’t miss a shot. Loves his Big Barker!!
Easy (aka Eazy-E) is a Borzoi mix and free agent acquisition (literally) picked up off the streets of Philly as a scrawny, sickly, and underappreciated castoff who’s added 30 pounds of muscle since joining the team. A ferocious perimeter defender, Easy loves his mates but anything else that moves is fair game, especially deer. Easy’s been mentored by Krimpet, a 16-year old Chocolate Cocker from Main Line Animal Rescue and wily veteran adept at scooping up anything loose on the floor who came over with her Mom several years ago at the beginning of our own Process.

Gus loves his Big Barker, almost as much as he loves his favorite player Shake Milton. Shake's the only player whose name doubles as a command, so every time it's said, he thinks he'll be getting a treat if he sticks his paw out. And after Shake's performance in the game last night, his mother Maeve will gladly dish out those treats!
Bodie is an Olde English Bulldog that has lived on both coasts and traveled cross country twice with his dad CJ and uncle Nicholas. He has seen more of the US than most people and loved being outside, soaking up the sun, and playing fetch. A big summer league guy, a champion eater, sleeper, and an elite athlete in his younger days, Bodie is always tough as nails and some would say invincible. In his old age Bodie has turned into quite the teddy bear and is known for just being an overall great boy that is loved by all. Player comp = TJ McConnell
This is Bear Grylls (pronounced “grills”). He is a 7-year old 85-pound Chow mix and although he’s a wild man, he’s a good boy and protector of my family (wife, two daughters, and a third baby girl arriving on 9/26!).
meet Margot, an almost 10 year old but newly indoctrinated process pup. We just welcomed our first child back in February. To try and get Margot out of her beloved king size bed she graciously shares with us we got the big barker. A week or so in she’s spent a few hours each night in it, still a work in process.
Finley is a 4 year old chihuahua mix pandemic rescue pup. He loves using the Barker Jr. that belonged to his fellow Process Pup, Cory (who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019) for bedtimes. This past Christmas, he also got his own Big Barker sofa bed for lounging during the day. Although he's hasn't gone though the lean process years, he's already lived through enough Sixers weirdness for a lifetime. Nevertheless, he continues to believe this year might be the year!
